Hi guys great video, and interesting product. I am looking at something similar, but at around 11.32 in the video, I notice a gap between the 2 clamshells, is this normal when the tent closes, as this would be prone to water and dust entering?

I like it, I would change a few things though. First, make it unzip all the way around and have both ends go up straight. Put a pole in all 4 corners and make it 5 feet tall so a person can stand up inside it. I don't like having to kneel around in a tent. I would eliminate the gas shocks, just use the poles to extend it up like my ARB awning. Then extend the roof cover enough to go over the zipper all the way around to keep the zipper clean and more weather proof.

Nice review, thanks. You've mentioned, it will keep water / spills. I am just curious - is that more a nylon or a gum material? I mean - what if the spill is from color liqiuid like sirup, etc. Will it stay protected, or is there a risk of color stains staying permanent?

I’ve got the CFX55 IM. We found it much simpler to fit one of the rigid ends completely…. then WITHOUT putting the fridge on its side… you can lift the fridge into place while it’s in the upright position. The rest was super simple and took less than a few minutes! I think you should point out that once you’ve put a fridge on its side and then upright again…. don’t turn the fridge power back on for at least 3/4 hours. This is standard practice for any fridge fitted with a compressor as it allows any refrigerant to drain back down to its operating level.

I have two of these Knog Bandicoot headlights and have used them a couple years for fly fishing.....and the walk back to the truck through the woods. The best part is they don't give me a headache like many of the elastic fabric bands consistently give me..... and I have owned about a dozen different elastic style headlights. The multi mode function is rather confusing at times because you can't tell what mode you selected without removing the thing .... I would rather have a separate on/off button for the reader LEDs and another on/off for the RED LEDs..... and the brightness button that would apply to whatever lights are on.... sort of a universal dimmer switch. Red lamp should be 6 LEDs on the bottom for reading. This function is critical for maintaining one's night vision and cycling through white lights ruins night vision..... pupil constricts and the user has to wait for eyes to adjust. I carry a bright Red LED flashlight because I cannot find an intelligent design on the market that meets my needs, but the Knog Bandicoot has some good features that have made it my preferred headlamp.... primarily for comfort. I have not had any failures since buying the first one about 3 years ago. Fog and light rain are common and they both have been dependable in damp to wet conditions. I use a USB extension cord to charge because the curve of the headlamp sits oddly in a USB slot, but a small battery bank charger would also work.
